“My professional radio career kicked off right here at My 1043 back in the summer of 2010, right after graduating with a Bachelors degree in Broadcast and Cinematic Arts at Central Michigan University. I’m no stranger to Mount Pleasant and the mid-Michigan area having grown up nearby and having spent my college career right here; so joining the team at My 1043 was an obvious choice! Outside of the radio station, you will likely find me enjoying one of the many great local music acts in the area, drinking a delicious craft beer, watching college football, or my favorite television show: Entourage. My favorite places to be when I’m not in Mount Pleasant are anywhere on the Lake Michigan coastline, Grand Rapids or Chicago. And though I’ve never actually been there, I often find myself California dreaming. I am currently a Graduate student at CMU pursuing a masters degree in Electronic Media Management. In the future, I would love to start up an Internet radio station showcasing the musical talent in the Midwest, and eventually I want to own my own broadcast radio station.
