6.) Supplemental Recruitment Initiatives:

9-15-2008 General Sales Manager, Bob Peters, met with three Central Michigan University students from BCA-511-Broadcast Sales. The information provided students with insight into the broadcast industry as a career choice.
- 11-18-08 Promotions Director and Morning Show Co-Host, Tina Sawyer, met with the Central Michigan University chapter of American Women in Radio and Television to discuss her experience as a woman in broadcasting; specifically small market radio. Topics covered included what a typical day is like, some of her best and worst days in the business. A "Q&A" period followed where she answered questions from he 10 students that attended the meeting.
- Feb 2009 General Sales Manager, Bob Peters, met with four Central Michigan University students from BCA-511-Broadcast sales. The information provided the students insight into the broadcast industry as a career choice.
- 3-21-09 Operations Manager, John Sebastian, hosted a booth at the BCA Career Fair at Central Michigan University. Part-time, temporary positions available were for summer and fall interns and board operators for the fall. Fifteen people were interviewed at the career fair.
